The Jacara LaBelle Foundation carries the names — and the hearts — of three remarkable women: Jackie, Barbara, and Patti. Jackie’s and Barbara’s lives were defined by a quiet but unwavering conviction: that every human being, regardless of age, background, or circumstance, deserves to be seen, valued, and cared for. Patti continues to honor her remarkable sisters by continuing their legacy of service.
Jacara LaBelle is more than a name. It is a fusion of collective commitment and a shared belief that compassion is not optional — it is a civic duty. Jackie and Barbara often said, “No child or elder should ever have to worry about where their next meal comes from.” That statement was not a slogan. It was how they lived.
